It is drought tolerant once established, but will need plenty of water until then. Whilst they can grow to a stately 15 metres in height, they are easy to keep trimmed to the required height.

'Pyramidalis' conifers look great all year round making them ideal for a variety of settings; plant in pairs to frame an entrance, line them along pathways for a formal look, use one as a striking focal point. They can even be grown in large containers for a touch of classic Mediterranean style on patios and terraces.
