In autumn, small, fragrant white flowers bloom, sometimes followed by vibrant orange fruits in winter that attract wildlife to the garden. Also known as Ebbinge’s Silverberry or Elaeagnus × submacrophylla, it thrives in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil.
